Zero Waste-Event

We’re excited to make the Piscataqua Riverfest a zero-waste event. To do this, we’ve asked our vendors, participants, speakers, etc to bring only reusable or compostable goods. We will have waste sites on hand that day with recycle and compost stations (with Mr. Fox Composting) as well as a refillable water station.

If you are an interested food vendor, please contact us for supplying compostable goods if you do not have a source already.

What You can Do? Bring your own refillable water bottle!

Carpool, Bike, Bus, or Walk

We strongly encourage attendees to think green when you plan how to get to the festival! There are bike racks by the Hancock St entrance of Strawbery Banke.

Help Us Clean Up After the Event

Join volunteers from Surfrider to do a post-festival clean up.
