Family Activities

There is so much to do at Piscataqua Riverfest for families with kids of all ages. There will be demonstrations, music, kids activities, a scavenger hunt, Gundalow sails, face painting, small boat models and more.

Kids Activities throughout the Day

Join the UNH Marine docents, Gundalow volunteers and staff, Seacoast Science Center, and more with activities throughout the festival grounds. We’ll explore marine science, maritime skills and history of the region.

Gundalow Sails

Kids are welcome all day aboard the gundalow PISCATAQUA. Join the crew, set the sail, steer the boat, and learn about the history and environment of the region while cruising along the Porstmouth Waterfront. Tickets are available at gundalow.org
